November's IDC starts of well and as you can see from the picture Chris continues to give his PADI instructor students every luxury including tea breaks in the pool !
This IDC is particularly interesting as Chris is teaching Nick Bray who is a pretty special student as he has no hearing. Good luck IDC class November 2008.

Duke Vince one of the most experienced and nicest instructors in Phuket joins the Indepth IDC team as a Staff Instructor and will now help Chris during the IDC and particularly during the IDC preparation weekends before the actual IDC course

This IDC was a true international IDC one, it was successfully completed by candidates from the UK, Russia, New Zealand, USA, South Africa, the Maldives and Thailand. They celebrated their success with PADI Instructor Examiner Marc Spiers, PADI Course Director Chris Owen. One of the Divemasters to complete the course was Vicky Haining, who was trained to PADI Divemaster standard by James Brabyn one of Chris's IDC candidates from 2006. Vicky had exceptional scores in her IE Theory Exams and the IE Practical Exams.

James Brabyn and Neil Bowen complete the IDC and both pass at first attempt the PADI IE, James continues his Dive Instructor education with Indepth Instruction eventually completing his PADI MSDT with the specialties: deep diver, DPV diver, wreck diver. Nitrox (EANx) and Photography. He then goes on to complete his Staff Instructor course with Chris in February 2007.
