Two weeks hard work has turned Divemasters Richard Hutson, Diana Henderson and Ken Henderson into Indepth Instruction’s newest PADI instructors and the last ones of 2008, they completed their IE at Kata Palm Garden hotel and Kata beach, well done to you all.
There are 12 IDCs per year and as the last one of the year is just about to draw to a close (as I write, the 2008 December IE is beginning tomorrow) we are getting a lot of interest for the IDC courses in 2009 with the first one beginning January 5th. If you are considering doing your IDC, IDCS or MSDT prep course with us in 2009 we suggest booking early as we don’t want to disappoint anybody.
We are finding more and more potential instructors are opting for the MSDT prep program as they feel that gives them the best education and sets them up ready to start taking their own students for courses.
We are also seeing considerable interest for our old IDC candidates that come back 1 or 2 years after their original IDC to take their IDC Staff Course.
Good luck to all those Divemasters that have their IDC booked in for 2009.

Long term friend of Indepth Instruction gets congratulated by PADI for her diving certifications.
Lisa Paggeot is only 12 years old and she already has achieved her Jnr PADI Adventure Diver, 5 PADI specialties and over 60 logged dives, and for her 12th birthday she gained the distinction of becoming one of the youngest PADI Jnr Rescue Divers in the world after completion of her course.

November’s IDC starts of well and as you can see from the picture Chris continues to give his PADI instructor students every luxury including tea breaks in the pool !
This IDC is particularly interesting as Chris is teaching Nick Bray who is a pretty special student as he has no hearing. Good luck IDC class November 2008.

Congratulations to Jarunya Chantakit EFR #3266 who has just passed her EFR Instructor Trainer Course, This makes her Thailand’s first Thai national to pass the EFR IT course and exam before she becomes a PADI Instructor

Duke Vince one of the most experienced and nicest instructors in Phuket joins the Indepth IDC team as a Staff Instructor and will now help Chris during the IDC and particularly during the IDC preparation weekends before the actual IDC course
